Four J Class yachts, including the new Huisman-built Hanuman, have communicated their intention to participate in The Superyacht Cup 2009 in Palma, June 24-27. It will be the first time the four J's, Ranger, Velsheda, Shamrock V and Hanuman will race against each other.

Anchor Marina, the first marina on Palm Jumeirah, is on schedule to open in December 2008. Island Global Yachting (IGY) has also confirmed, in an innovative move that marks a change in the way berths are made available, that it launched an exclusive online auction site in November to offer berths to owners and residents of Palm Jumeirah.
