A former boat captain, Brad has over 25 years of experience in the boating industry. He has his Certified Marina Manager (CMM) designation from the International Marina Institute and was instrumental in acquiring both Clean Marina/Boatyard designations for multiple marina facilities. Brad is committed to the marine industry through his active membership in marine professional organizations such as the Association of Marine Industries (AMI) where he has served as former chairman of the National Marina Day Committee, and the Marine Industries Association of South Florida (MIASF). He is Past- Chairman and is currently on the Board of Directors of the Florida Clean Marina Partnership which is an organization of both industry and governmental agencies committed to providing clean facilities to the boating public and maintaining and protecting Florida’s waterways from pollution.

Every April, Sunrise Harbor Marina hosts the largest Captain and Crew Appreciation Party in the industry. This past year the event was attended by over 1200 captains, crew, and marine industry leaders. Save the date for the 2009 party scheduled for April 4.
