CHRISTENSEN SHIPYARDS PREPARES THE NEWLY COMPLETED YACHT, THE M/Y CASINO ROYALE FOR LAUNCH Christensen Shipyards, the nation’s premier luxury yacht builder, will launch the newest ship in its custom series line of composite yachts in late JulyChristensen Shipyards, the nation's premier luxury yacht builder, will launch the newest ship in its custom series line of composite yachts in late July

Vancouver, WA --The elegant M/Y Casino Royale is the most luxurious and sophisticated Christensen yet. The 163' Christensen "Millennium" Edition Tri-Deck yacht was recently completed by the world renowned shipyard, and was christened a few weeks ago. The boat was designed by Christensen Shipyards, and is crafted with a composite hull and power being supplied by twin MTU 12V 4000 series engines. The Casino Royale will have a maximum speed of 18 knots, and will cruise at 12 knots, with a range of 4500 nautical miles.

John Staluppi, a veritable legend in the yachting industry, is the new owner. Mr. Staluppi holds many records relating to the fastest recorded motor yachts ever built, and is also well-known as a fellow yacht builder and co-owner of Millennium Super Yachts with his lifelong friend and business partner, John Rosatti. Mr. Rosatti owns the 157' Nice N'Easy, and recently purchased his second Christensen, Hull 36 which he named the Nice N Easy II. This 160' megayacht, the 4th in Christensen's Custom Series line, is slated for a July 2009 delivery.

After the christening ceremonies, Mr. Staluppi stated, "Christensen in my eyes is the best kept secret in all of yacht building. They have the best workmanship, the best quality and are the most innovative company I've ever seen. I've built 15 boats and this has been the easiest and best assembled yacht I've ever been in. When they build a boat, you really feel good about it, and when you're done building the boat it really feels like your boat. Working with Christensen and seeing the innovation and workmanship they have is amazing. Building this boat has been the most customer friendly and enjoyable experience I've had. I don't think there's a boat that can compete with a Christensen."

The Casino Royale is fully classified & certified to ABSXA1-AMS & MMA Unlimited Cruising. After final fit out and sea trials, Casino Royale will head to Alaska, then will travel on her own bottom to Fort Lauderdale where she will debut at the 2008 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, October 30-November 3rd, 2008.
