The M/Y Harle, designed by De Voogt Naval Architects and built by Feadship – Royal Van Lent Shipyard, was launched in October. Specifications include twin-screw construction with a steel hull and aluminum superstructure, transatlantic range with maximum 14.5-knot speed, and an interior style that has classic art deco styling. The owner's stateroom boasts deck to ceiling windows with a skylight that can be blinded. Based in the Netherlands, Feadship is a cooperative effort between three renowned names in yachting – Koninklijke De Vries Scheepsbouw, Royal Van Lent and De Voogt. An aggressive expansion program now underway will to allow the over 150-year-old organization to launch up to five yachts a year, ranging in size up to 590'.
